Save a seller
If you see a store or seller you like, you can always save them in My eBay. This also comes in useful if you see a seller with a great feedback score displayed on their item or store page.
- Simply click the Save this seller link from an item or store page.
- Once you’ve done that, you’ll start seeing what they're selling in your feed.
- You can also unsave a seller, just click the same link on the item or store page.
Save a search
Save your frequent searches and save yourself valuable shopping time! This works wonders when you’re searching for rare items that aren’t listed often.
- Click Save this search at the top of the search results page to add it to My eBay.
- You can then organize your searches—filtering by price, colour, or type of listing.
- We can also alert you when there’s something new added, so you don’t miss out when that hard-to-find item you’ve been looking for gets listed.

Make an offer
Making an offer gives you the opportunity to negotiate your way to a great deal. You can also filter your search for “Accepts Best Offer” to find listings where this type of scenario is possible.
- Click Make an offer to enter your chosen amount.
- Select when you’d like the offer to expire and add a message to the seller (optional).
- Click Review offer and check all the information before submitting.

Make a bid
Bidding on auction-style listings is also a great way to buy for a bargain price.
- Start by reviewing the starting bid amount, enter your chosen bid amount (must be more than or equal to the starting bid), and click Submit bid.
- Once the auction ends, the highest bidder wins, so you may end up bidding multiple times to secure the item.
- You can also use automatic bidding. Simply enter the highest price you're willing to pay for an item, and we'll do the rest.
